It’s been a while, I know. This is a quick update about some new tunes. For one, I have a new song for the ChipWINter Wonderland comp! Everything has really been coming together for this one. Some serious seasonal goodness, so check it out! There’s a listening party at www.8bitx.com and open chatroom at www.chiptuneswin.com/chat ( facebook event here: www.facebook.com/events/791920514215058 ). In a few months there may be some other tunes coming out as well but that’s of a different nature entirely. More on that to come.

ChipWIN Review and Remembering Things

There have been some great track-by-track reviews from 8bitx.com for the Chiptunes = WIN: Volume 2 compilation. Check out the writeup for my submission “Tiny Fungi” here. Also, it turns out that I straight up forgot about the last mixer for The Wave – I Know, I Know. Tour happened and things got hazy. I’ll be sure to finish that up soon. Really. On a side note, Birthdays ended up on the bandcamp.com homepage again!? They’ve been posting fan spotlights, and Birthdays just so happened to be in their catalog. How bout that!

New Track, Bugs Fixed, New Chumes

The “Oh, How Romantic” mixer is live. Check It Out Here! With this update I’ve fixed a few things. There was a WebGL bug causing faders to become invisible on some computers. NO LONGER. Some other minor fixes have been made to the user interface like better handling of the faders and removing strange ghost platforming. These updates have all been made to Outage With Candles as well. I think with the next tune I’ll be focusing more on some fun goodies as most of the major bugs have been handled.

For those of you who couldn’t make it to the ChipWin Vol2 release party, go grab a copy now. It’s Pay-What-You-Want and the tracklist is crazy deep (I’m #37 for those who want to save your young eyeballs).

ChipWIN Compilation Release

Nothing like a new release to spark the gusto for finishing this mixer. On Monday there will be a listening party for the release of the new Chiptunes = WIN compilation at 8bitx. You can tune in at 8 Eastern and even do some chatting – I’ll be there for sure. There’s a facebook event for it here. I’ll be releasing the first song – Outage With Candles – for the mixer on Monday as well. The comments section will be left open for any bug reporting. I’m thinking there will be weekly releases of the following songs so any early reported bugs will get fixed up before the next release.
