The mixer for I Know, I Know is up – Check It Out Here. There were some syncing and exporting complications again so getting around to finishing it was a bummer and took forever. On the up side, it’s my favorite layout with something hidden in the chimney and a nice mood. In other news subPixel will be playing at Rochester Chip Fest 2013 – check out that lineup, WHEW! It’s at RIT on December 14th so don’t forget your booties.

Two new songs to mix with fun. There’s some bad news though. Some of my master session files got corrupted somehow, resulting in some sync and general weirdness issues. This is kind of a total bummer but maybe we can just pretend it’s not an issue…? Anyway, ride the albatross into the unknown and get ready for the final chune. One and a Two and a you know what to do.

Close Rain Mixer With Fun Updates

The next track is now mixable. Channel instruments are now represented by icons but you can mouse over them to read the names like before. It’s a little easier to understand now. Watch for the lava pit… if you want to.

New Track, Bugs Fixed, New Chumes

The “Oh, How Romantic” mixer is live. Check It Out Here! With this update I’ve fixed a few things. There was a WebGL bug causing faders to become invisible on some computers. NO LONGER. Some other minor fixes have been made to the user interface like better handling of the faders and removing strange ghost platforming. These updates have all been made to Outage With Candles as well. I think with the next tune I’ll be focusing more on some fun goodies as most of the major bugs have been handled.

For those of you who couldn’t make it to the ChipWin Vol2 release party, go grab a copy now. It’s Pay-What-You-Want and the tracklist is crazy deep (I’m #37 for those who want to save your young eyeballs).

The Wave Mixer – “Outage With Candles” Is Live / See You Tonight!

It has begun! The first track from The Wave is now available in MIXER FORMAT! You can change volume, panning and chip/live blend on the fly – even solo, mute, scrub and stuff too! I’ll be adding more features as time goes on and updating old songs as new ones are released and bugs are fixed. GO PLAY NOW!

Also, tonight is the release of Chiptunes = WIN: Volume 2! I have a new track on here so head over to 8bitx.com at 8pm eastern for a listening party and chat.

ChipWIN Compilation Release

Nothing like a new release to spark the gusto for finishing this mixer. On Monday there will be a listening party for the release of the new Chiptunes = WIN compilation at 8bitx. You can tune in at 8 Eastern and even do some chatting – I’ll be there for sure. There’s a facebook event for it here. I’ll be releasing the first song – Outage With Candles – for the mixer on Monday as well. The comments section will be left open for any bug reporting. I’m thinking there will be weekly releases of the following songs so any early reported bugs will get fixed up before the next release.

New Site To Feature Things!

So here’s a central place for stuff related to subPixel, how about that!? I’m trying to get this thing up as soon as possible because there are some exciting bits coming up in the near future. Namely The Wave Mixer App (finally!) and some new music. I’ll have details about all of this junk in the next few days. In the meantime I’ve linked “Listen” to my Bandcamp releases and that’s not redundant at all!
